How to get free gas at a store in Kansas
A gas station and convenience store near Wichita, Kan., is offering a $1.99 discount on a single tank of gasoline for residents who use a smartphone.
The “Ride For Your Gas” app lets users find the closest gas station near their home by using a smartphone app and tapping on the yellow sticker.
Users must bring their phone to the convenience store, where they can use the app to order a tank of gas and pay for it with a credit card.
The app was created by Austin, Texas-based Barkers Department Store.
It allows users to locate the nearest gas station by entering a ZIP code.
Barkers, which opened its first location in the Kansas City area in December, has been selling its new app to customers in the region.
Its app has also been downloaded by more than 500,000 people and counting, said Bob Pugh, the company’s chief marketing officer.
The company said in a statement that it has received hundreds of phone calls from people who have tried the app.
“As you will soon see, we’re not alone,” it said.
The company has also received thousands of calls from customers who have used the app on their smartphones.
