Baby department stores are in hot demand right now, with thousands of baby names and baby-themed brands popping up on baby-related websites and in online catalogues.
The baby names have also been used as a hashtag, #BabyBust, for BabyBustBaby, a campaign to promote the growth of baby shopping.
“Baby names are becoming more popular and are getting more and more creative, especially on the baby department,” says Rachel Tapper, who owns a baby name shop in Ottawa.
“It’s not a matter of ‘Oh, it’s too cool, you can’t have it.'”
Baby names have become more popular recently, with many of them being used as hashtag campaigns, as well as on baby related websites, according to a new report by the Baby Business Journal.

Baby stores saw baby name and brand growth increase from 2.6 million baby names sales in 2014 to nearly 5 million in the fourth quarter of 2014.
